Every time we get to photograph the wedding of a friend, it’s always a touch more special.
There’s always a bit of added emotion and connection towards the celebration. I met Carmen, who is an amazing Cape Town photographer, whilst working on cruise ships and it’s been so amazing that our friendship has lasted all these years.
Their Mexican Fiesta wedding held at the beautiful Excelsior wine estate in Robertson. As new Overberg wedding photographers, it was an absolute joy shooting an Overberg wedding. As international wedding photographers, we always say that falling in love with you backyard is food for the soul and a mexican wedding in Robertson in the Overberg is exactly that, food for the soul.
A day filled with the celebration of love and life as they not only tied the knot, but also celebrated their little girl, Katherine Ann’s, 2nd birthday and together with their wedding ceremony also baptised her.
Jason surprised Carmen with an antique wedding ring during their vows and I think together with Carmen, many a tear was flowing. Thank you so much for trusting Jack and Jane Photography with this important task. As a husband and wife photography team, we loved being a part of your beautiful day!
